He began the day like any other: He went to the gym, then headed to Buck’s Supermarket, 3015 S. Meridian St., where he stops in often for breakfast and an occasional scratch-off ticket before heading to work. He won $30 and returned to the store later that day to splurge on a $20 ticket. Wagner was in his car when he realized he won $1 million. “I freaked out,” the 25-year-old said. “I didn’t expect it.” Although he used to joke with his family that he would buy a Lamborghini if he ever won the lottery, he has more practical plans for his prize. He wants to pay off his house and car. “I want to do it right. I want to have money down the line. It’s a lot, but it’s not enough to retire.”
